Woman Gaga appointed co-chair of Biden’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities
Woman Gaga is a lady of many skills. She’s a Grammy- and Oscar-winning singer, an actress, a philanthropist — and now she’s bringing her skills to the White Home.
The White House announced Thursday that President Joe Biden will appoint Woman Gaga, 37, as co-chair of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities (PCAH) together with Oscar-wining producer Bruce Cohen.
Members of the committee embrace Jon Batiste, Constance M. Carroll, George Clooney, Philip J. Deloria, M. Angélica Garcia, Jennifer Garner, Nora Halpern, Steve Israel, Marta Kauffman, Ricky Kirshner, Troy Kotsur, Katie McGrath, Laura Penn, Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, Arnold Rampersad, Shonda Rhimes, Kimberly Richter Shirley, Horacio Sierra, Anna Deavere Smith, Joe Walsh, Kerry Washington and Pauline Yu.
“Welcome newly appointed members of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, led by @BruceCohen83 and @ladygaga!” the official committee Twitter account posted. “We stay up for partnering to positively influence the humanities, libraries, museums and humanities work throughout the nation.”
Gaga retweeted the information and responded, “Thanks @POTUS @PCAHgov.”

The PCAH was based in 1982 by Govt Order throughout Ronald Reagan’s administration to “advise the President on cultural coverage” and advises the president “on coverage, philanthropic and personal sector engagement, and different efforts to reinforce federal assist for the humanities, humanities, and museum and library companies,” in line with the discharge.
The Obama-era members of the committee resigned in 2017 following former President Donald Trump’s response to the Charlottesville riots, and Trump didn’t renew the order to maintain the committee. Biden revived the committee by Govt Order in September.
Woman Gaga has a number of ties to Biden, together with performing at his inauguration and touring with him to assist the “It’s On Us” initiative that addressed campus sexual assault.
