Twitter had a really messy weekend
April 1st was the day Twitter mentioned it will begin winding down its legacy verified program. However like most issues achieved on the firm underneath Elon Musk’s management, the method seemed to be chaotically executed, and topic to the whims of its new CEO.
For starters, aside from one main company account, legacy verified checkmarks don’t seem to have truly began disappearing for any of the accounts we considered. What has modified is that Twitter has stopped officially distinguishing between legacy verified customers and accounts that pay for Twitter Blue.
