PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — A twister touched down in Palm Seaside Gardens, Florida, on Saturday as a robust storm system introduced intense rain and highly effective winds to the state, overturning automobiles, damaging properties and snapping tree branches.

The Nationwide Climate Service in Miami stated the twister hit late Saturday afternoon with winds of 100 mph (160 kph) close to Palm Seaside Gardens Medical Middle and headed northeast towards the coast.

Storm harm pressured authorities within the coastal metropolis to shut main roadways as employees cleared particles and inspected wreckage. Photographs from the scene confirmed automobiles flipped over on high of one another, cracked tree limbs resting on automobiles and houses, in addition to different particles littering streets.
