Trainer Richard Fahey’s assistant gets brutally bucked by racehorse — and sent flying over the track wall

He’s got a fever!

A top horse trainer’s traveling assistant was viciously drop-kicked off the track by a gelding named Kamel Fever ahead of a race in England on Tuesday.

Chloe Briody, a 25-year-old aide to Richard Fahey, walked to the side of a seemingly calm 3-year-old horse at Redcar Racecourse in North Yorkshire when the racehorse bucked his hind legs with ferocious force and blasted her.

Briody was sent flying off the track as medics rushed to her aid — but the wallop stunned television viewers, who took to social media to share their disbelief.

“One second you’re doing your job … next second life hits like a freight train. Fast recovery to Chloe,” wrote one user on X.

Others posited that the horse was overstimulated.

“That happened because the horse didn’t see her coming,” a user replied.

“All of a sudden something was touching him on his side. He’s wearing blinders so couldn’t see down his side. Also there was a lot of excitement in the moment.”

She miraculously escaped the harrowing ordeal with little more than a few bruises after being sent to a local hospital.

“Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern following yesterday’s unfortunate accident in the parade ring at Redcar when a member of Richard Fahey’s stable staff was kicked by a horse,” Redcar racecourse said in a statement.

“Having spoken to the stable this morning, we are happy to confirm that the member of staff is fine apart from some bruising. She will be back on her feet soon and we wish her well.”

Kamel Fever, meanwhile, finished 11th out of 13 runners.
