Three Flights of Egyptian Troops Have Returned Residence From Sudan – Egyptian Military
CAIRO (Reuters) – The Egyptian military mentioned on Thursday that three flights carrying its troops had arrived at a Cairo airbase from Sudan the day past, confirming an earlier assertion by the Sudanese Armed Forces on the return of the troopers to Egypt.
In a press release, the military additionally mentioned that different Egyptian troops nonetheless in Sudan had reached Egypt’s embassy in Khartoum in coordination with the Worldwide Committee of the Purple Cross.
Earlier, Sudan’s paramilitary Speedy Help Forces (RSF), which is battling the Sudanese military, mentioned it had handed over 27 Egyptian troopers in its custody to the Purple Cross on Thursday morning.
The Egyptian troops had been in Sudan to participate in coaching workout routines.
