Republicans name for Gov. Katie Hobbs’ press secretary to be fired for ‘vile tweet’ invoking gun violence
A bunch of Arizona GOP state lawmakers have known as for the quick firing of Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs’ press secretary over a tweet invoking gun violence in opposition to “transphobes.”
Hobbs spokeswoman Josselyn Berry posted the offending tweet on Monday, simply hours after Audrey Hale, who was transgender, shot and killed three adults and three kids inside a Nashville Christian elementary school.
The tweet included a GIF from the 1980 film “Gloria,” displaying a girl brandishing two handguns.
“Us once we see transphobes,” Berry captioned the picture within the tweet.
“Lower than 12 hours after the tragic taking pictures in Nashville by a deranged transgender activist [Hobbs’] Press Secretary requires taking pictures folks Democrats disagree with,” the Arizona Freedom Caucus tweeted on Tuesday.

The group of conservative Republican state lawmakers added that Berry needs to be fired over the social media publish.
“Calling for violence like that is un-American & by no means acceptable. [Berry] needs to be fired instantly,” the GOP group added, noting in a follow-up post that Berry’s “vile tweet encouraging violence” had not been taken down after tens of millions of views and widespread condemnation.

Hobbs’ workplace didn’t instantly reply to The Put up’s request for remark.
It’s unclear if Twitter will take motion in opposition to Berry’s account.
