Portland teen sporting ‘Dangerous Selections Make Good Tales’ badge arrested for threatening faculty capturing
An Oregon teen armed with a practical duplicate handgun and sporting a helmet, goggles and a tactical vest with a patch that learn, “Dangerous Selections Make Good Tales” was arrested Monday after threatening a mass capturing at his former faculty.
Police responded to the Artistic Science College in Porkland simply earlier than 4 p.m. after receiving stories of a 13-year-old former pupil being armed and making threats, the town’s Police Bureau said.

“Officers challenged the juvenile, giving him instructions that may facilitate his protected arrest and he complied,” police stated within the launch.

The teenager was taken to the Donald E. Lengthy Juvenile Detention Heart and charged with menacing with a firearm and disorderly conduct.
Following preliminary threats of a capturing, directors on the Artistic Science College — a Public faculty serving kindergarten by eighth-grade college students — instantly positioned the varsity on lockdown.
Monday’s incident was the second in current months of a boy being arrested outdoors a Portland metropolis faculty with a realistic-looking handgun, Oregon Dwell reported.


Final month, a 15-year-old and 17-year-old had been arrested in connection to a theft and stabbing of a 13-year-old boy outdoors Rieke Elementary College, situated about 12 miles from the Artistic Science College.
The older teen was accused of pointing a black handgun, which turned out to be an airsoft pistol, at a crowd of center schoolers after the 15-year-old robbed and stabbed the 13-year-old, in keeping with the outlet.
These two teenagers stay in juvenile detention as their case is being compiled.
