Ontario Police Officer Killed, Two Wounded in Capturing at House -CBC

(Reuters) – An Ontario Provincial Police officer was shot and killed and two different officers wounded after they responded to a name early on Thursday, CBC Information reported.

At about 2 a.m. native time, a shooter opened fireplace on the officers as they responded to a disturbance at a house in Bourget, about 50 kilometers east of Ottawa, the information community reported, citing Ontario Provincial Police.

All three officers had been taken to a Ottawa hospital, the place one died. The situation of the 2 different officers was unknown, CBC stated.

The shooter was arrested, CBC reported.
