Man Discovered Match for Trial in Abduction of Lady Who Was Slain
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — A person beforehand discovered incompetent has been ordered to face trial on a kidnapping cost within the abduction of a 16-year-old who was killed in 2018, a prosecutor mentioned Tuesday.
A U.S. Bureau of Prisons forensic psychologist discovered proof to recommend Gerald Bennett, 63, of Detroit, was faking signs so he might be discovered incompetent to face trial, so U.S. Justice of the Peace Choose Ray Kent ordered Bennett to face trial on a cost of kidnapping a minor, U.S. Lawyer Mark Totten mentioned.
