Louisiana man shoots 14-year-old lady throughout hide-and-seek: Sheriff
A Louisiana man is dealing with felony prices after authorities stated he shot a 14-year-old lady behind the pinnacle whereas she and different kids performed hide-and-seek on his property.
David V. Doyle, 58, was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Heart and charged with aggravated battery, 4 counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, and unlawful discharge of a firearm, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported.
Officers stated the capturing came about early Sunday morning in Starks, a small neighborhood in southwest Louisiana close to the Texas state line.
The lady was transported to a hospital to be handled for non-life-threatening accidents, the sheriff’s workplace stated.

Deputies have been dispatched to a house in Starks for a report of a capturing and noticed a 14-year-old lady affected by a gunshot wound to the again of her head, the discharge states.
Detectives later arrived on the scene and discovered a number of kids have been enjoying hide-and-seek within the space and have been hiding on the neighbor’s property.
When detectives spoke with Doyle, he reportedly advised them he noticed shadows exterior his house and went inside to retrieve his firearm, per the discharge. Detectives stated he advised them he then went again exterior, noticed individuals operating away from his property, started capturing at them and “unknowingly hit the lady.”
The case remained underneath investigation on Tuesday.
