Kyiv Says Russian UN Safety Council Presidency Is ‘Symbolic Blow’
KYIV (Reuters) – A prime Ukrainian official on Saturday criticised the ‘symbolic blow’ of Russia assuming the rotating presidency of the United Nations Safety Council.
“It is not only a disgrace. It’s one other symbolic blow to the rules-based system of worldwide relations,” Andriy Yermak, the Ukrainian president’s chief of workers, wrote in English on Twitter.
