Kentucky Derby horse Wild on Ice euthanized after exercise harm
Wild On Ice, a horse that was slated to run within the Kentucky Derby, has been euthanized after struggling an harm to his left hind leg in coaching on Thursday.
The horse’s proprietor Frank Sumpter confirmed the news to the El Paso Times.
“Wild On Ice gave us so many nice moments,” Sumpter mentioned. “He’ll perpetually be remembered. It’s a tragic scenario. These horses give us so many nice moments in life, and our workforce places in so many hours taking good care of the horses.
