Jonathan Majors arrested for allegedly assaulting, strangling girl


Jonathan Majors has been arrested in New York after an alleged home violence altercation with a 30-year-old girl.

The NYPD confirmed to USA TODAY in a press release that the “Creed III” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” star was taken into custody after officers obtained a 911 name from a girl who stated she had been assaulted. The lady was taken to the hospital, and Majors, 33, was charged with strangulation, assault and harassment.

Majors’ consultant denied the allegations and instructed USA TODAY in a press release that the actor “has executed nothing unsuitable.” 

“We stay up for clearing his identify and clearing this up,” the assertion stated.

USA TODAY has reached out to Marvel for remark.

Officers responded to a name throughout the 10 Precinct at roughly 11:14 a.m. ET Saturday.
