Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, trying to avoid the Taylor Swift spotlight: Not my ‘cup of tea’

Not every Kelce is soaking up the Taylor Swift spotlight.
Kylie Kelce, who is married to Eagles center Jason Kelce, said she will not be in the suite for the “Monday Night Football” matchup between her husband’s team and brother-in-law Travis Kelce’s Chiefs.
“I will be in the stands (Monday), I’m a stands girl,” Kylie told Spectrum News in Kansas City of her plans for the game at Arrowhead Stadium. “I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans, even if it’s in an opposing team stadium.”
The attention around the Kelce family has been ratcheted up significantly since Travis began dating Swift in September.
Swift has become a familiar presence in the suites for Chiefs games, hanging with mom Donna, father Ed and Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.
Any chance Swift had of attending the Kelce Bowl was scurried when she had to postpone a concert in Brazil till Monday night due to a heat wave in the South American country.
“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of the camera. I was a communication major in college, I love to be behind it. That’s my bread and butter,” said Kylie, who was hosting a field hockey clinic for kids in Kansas City.
“But at the end of the day, if it creates opportunities like this and I can leverage my network and figure out how to impact a community that has been so, so kind to the Kelce family, I am so happy to give back to Kansas City in any way. I am just hoping we have enough people in the stadium to say, ‘Go Birds’ to get my husband’s first win against the Chiefs. He’s 13 years in, we’re due I think.”
The biggest of those losses came in last year’s Super Bowl where Travis’ Chiefs prevailed, 38-35, in an epic showdown.
Kylie was a storyline for that February game as she was 38 weeks pregnant at the time — and would give birth two weeks later to her and Jason’s third child, Bennett Llewellyn.
Jason has expressed concern in the past about how Travis deals with the bright-hot spotlight with paparazzi covering his every move.
However, Donna told reporters that Travis is holding up well under the constant scrutiny.
“He likes attention,” Donna told “Good Morning America” on Monday.
“As long as he can handle it, I don’t have any problems with it.”
