A day and a half into the IDF’s raid of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, troops remain “inside and in the vicinity of the hospital complex,” an Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson told CNN.
“Special forces are (conducting) very specific, contained operations,” the spokesperson said Thursday.
Israel officials claimed Wednesday after the raid began that they had found “concrete evidence” of Hamas operating a military facility beneath Al Shifa, Gaza’s largest hospital.
The military also released photos showing a jaw-dropping cache of weapons and combat gear recovered during the search.
