NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India’s antitrust physique stated an inquiry is required into allegations that service price charged for in-app funds by Google breach a contest watchdog directive, a regulatory order seen by Reuters confirmed on Friday.
Tinder-owner Match Group and Indian startups had requested the watchdog to analyze Alphabet’s Google’s new Consumer Selection Billing (UCB) system, which they alleged was anti-competitive.
