German Govt ‘Concerned’ by Reported Killings at Saudi-Yemeni Border

BERLIN (Reuters) – Germany hopes to see a swift investigation into Human Rights Watch studies of killings of migrants at Saudi Arabia’s border with Yemen, a authorities spokesperson in Berlin mentioned on Wednesday.

“We’re very involved and anticipated a swift and clear and complete investigation,” the spokesperson mentioned at a daily information convention in Berlin, including that the overseas workplace was involved with Saudi Arabia on human rights points.

A Saudi official, who didn’t present their title, mentioned on Monday in an emailed response to inquiries to the federal government’s media workplace that HRW’s allegations have been “unfounded and never primarily based on dependable sources.”
