Convicted Assassin Faces Retrial in 2nd Tucson Lady’s Demise
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A person already convicted of murdering a Tucson teenager in 2014 is scheduled to be retried within the kidnapping and dying of a 6-year-old woman.
Pima County prosecutors stated the retrial of 41-year-old Christopher Clements is scheduled to start on Sept. 12 and final 4 weeks.
Clements has been charged with first-degree homicide, housebreaking and kidnapping a minor below the age of 15 in relation to Isabel Celis’ dying and disappearance.

A special jury heard Clements’ first homicide trial involving Celis, who was reported lacking from her bed room in her dad and mom’ Tucson dwelling in April 2012.
Clements, a convicted intercourse offender with a protracted prison document, was arrested in 2018 and indicted on 22 felony counts within the ladies’ deaths.
