Conversations with North Korea have began on US soldier Travis King: UN Command


Conversations have begun between the United Nations Command and North Korea over the case of US soldier Travis King who crossed into the North, the deputy commander of the US-led multinational command that oversees the Korean Struggle truce mentioned on Monday.

The dialog had been initiated and had been being carried out with North Korea’s navy via a mechanism established underneath the Korean Struggle armistice, UN Command deputy commander, Lieutenant Common Andrew Harrison, informed a briefing.

“The first concern for us is non-public King’s welfare,” he mentioned.
