Congress returns to NY listening to on Bragg, debt ceiling struggle with Biden


WASHINGTON – The clash between the Manhattan district attorney who indicted Donald Trump and Home Republicans who defend the previous president continues Monday when Congress is again in session with a congressional hearing about crime in New York.  

Home Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, scheduled the listening to to focus on rising crime in New York throughout what he known as the politically motivated prosecution of Trump. However Manhattan District Lawyer Alvin Bragg contends violent crime is actually down in the city

The listening to is the newest escalation of accusations stemming from the unprecedented 34 felony charges of falsifying business records in opposition to Trump.

It is simply one among many conflicts Congress faces this week as each chambers return from a two-week recess. Loads has occurred since lawmakers’ final day on Capitol Hill, which was the identical day the former president was indicted. He has since been arraigned and charged.
