Canada Extradites a ‘Most Needed’ Suspect to Face Drug Prices, U.S. Says

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Canada has extradited an alleged drug trafficker on the USA’ “ten most wished” checklist to face federal costs in Michigan, the U.S. Division of Justice stated on Friday.

The suspect, twin Canadian-Laos citizen Khaophone Sychantha, was first indicted within the U.S. in 2005 and once more in 2013, then charged in three separate circumstances in Canada the place he fled home arrest in 2014, the division stated in a press release. He was arrested once more in 2017.
