California Ninth Grader Stabbed by Classmate, Faculty Says


WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (AP) — A San Francisco Bay Space ninth-grader is in police custody after stabbing a fellow ninth-grader Tuesday, a faculty superintendent stated.

The 2 college students attended Northgate Excessive Faculty and are acquaintances, stated Adam Clark, superintendent of the Mt. Diablo Unified Faculty District, in a press release.

The injured scholar is recovering at a hospital. The coed’s medical situation was not disclosed.

Clark stated no different college students had been concerned, and they’re again at school. The incident occurred round 1 p.m.

The Walnut Creek Police Division stated in a press release this was an remoted incident and that different college students and workers aren’t in peril. Officers are conducting an investigation.
