What do last-minute Chevy Chase ‘Christmas Vacation’ tickets cost?
[ad_1]
“National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” isn’t just playing on cable this year.
From Nov. 26 through Dec. 28, the classic 1989 film will screen at nine venues all over North America as part of a nationwide tour.
Better yet, each showing will be followed by a Q&A with star Chevy Chase where he’ll share behind-the-scenes stories from his time on set and take questions from the crowd about his “Saturday Night Live,” “Caddyshack” and “Three Amigos” days.
For those in New York and New Jersey, you can catch the “Community” actor on tour at Buffalo, NY’s Sheas Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, Dec. 6 and Newark, NJ’s New Jersey Performing Arts Center on Friday, Dec. 15.
As of now, tickets are available for all shows this holiday season.
Some seats are quite cheap, too.
At the time of publication, our team found some tickets going for as low as $16 before fees on Vivid Seats.
To be fair, most other shows are a bit pricier — seats start anywhere from $40 to $70 before fees for all other gigs based on our findings.

Chevy Chase controversy
Over the years, Chase has stirred up trouble with comedians in his circle.
In 1978, he engaged in fisticuffs with fellow ‘SNL’ cast member Bill Murray backstage in John Belushi’s dressing room.
Decades later, Chase was banned from hosting “Saturday Night Live” after a number of incidents where he derided ‘Not Ready For Primetime Players’ and writers with homophobic and sexist slurs; he also reportedly slapped Cheri Oteri in the back of the head.
This century, the now 80-year-old comic starred in NBC’s “Community” until the fourth season when they cut him loose. Chase allegedly verbally abused Donald Glover with a barrage of racist insults and slurs which led to the firing.
