Ukraine Nears Deal With Global Insurers to Cover Grain Ships – FT

(Reuters) – Ukraine is finalising a scheme with world insurers to cowl grain ships travelling to and from its Black Sea ports, the Monetary Occasions reported on Monday citing Ukraine’s Deputy Financial system Minister Oleksandr Gryban.

Gryban advised the newspaper the deal was “at present being pursued and actively mentioned” between the related ministries, in addition to home banks and worldwide insurance coverage teams together with Lloyd’s of London.
