Ukraine Forces Raise National Flag in Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia Region

(Reuters) – Ukrainian forces have raised the nationwide flag within the settlement of Robotyne within the southern Zaporizhzhia area, Kyiv’s navy mentioned on Wednesday, although it was not clear whether or not all the group had been liberated from Russian forces.

“A historic day! Troopers of the forty seventh Separate Mechanised Brigade arrange the flag of Ukraine within the village of Robotyne, in one of many hottest locations – Melitopol,” the brigade mentioned in a submit on its Telegram channel.

Kyiv seeks to recapture the strategic southern metropolis of Melitopol as a part of its counter-offensive in opposition to Russia’s full-scale 2022 invasion.
