The 2024 SAG Awards nods are here — and so are the snubs

The 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards are here.
On Wednesday, Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani announced the nominations for the 30th annual ceremony.
The categories in the Screen Actors Guild Awards are voted on by SAG-AFTRA’s membership of more than 119,000 actors.
It’s been a tumultuous year for SAG-AFTRA, since they were on strike from July to November, in a 118-day run that was the longest work-stoppage in the union’s history.
This year’s ceremony will also honor Barbra Streisand, 81, with the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award.
The 2024 nominations gave a lot of awards love to “Oppenheimer,” “Barbie,” “Succession,” “The Bear,” and “Beef” – similar to the 2024 Golden Globes.
But unlike the Golden Globes, the SAG awards notably snubbed Leonardo DiCaprio (his “Killers of the Flower Moon” co-stars Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro both got nominations), “Saltburn” and its star Barry Keoghan, the Prime Vide miniseries “Daisy Jones & The Six” and star Riley Keough, “Succession” star Jeremy Strong (his fellow cast members got nods) and “May December,” including any of that movie’s stars (Charles Melton, Julianne Moore, or Natalie Portman).
Here are the 2024 nominees.
