Southampton artist captures gorgeous drone photos of sharks

A New York artist has captured gorgeous drone images that show sharks hidden within the waters lower than 30 ft off Hamptons seashores.
Joanna Steidle, 50, who has been flying drones since 2015, just lately captured a number of sharks swimming near the Southampton shore.
“It’s a complete new world,” she told the BBC.
“It’s a complete new perspective.”



Steidle, who grew up in the Hamptons, says she goes out to the seaside each morning, and goals her drone at faculties of bait fish that swim in heat waters near shore.
The predators quickly comply with, she stated.
“The way in which they transfer and the way in which they work together with the species round them is fascinating,” she stated.
“It’s like they’re sharing an enormous buffet.”
Steidle isn’t the one one utilizing a drone to trace the predators.
With shark sightings on the rise this summer season in waters off the coast of New York and New Jersey, New York officers deployed 60 shark-monitoring drones throughout Lengthy Island and metropolis seashores to guard swimmers.
