South Korea to Evacuate Thousands of Scouts Due to Expected Typhoon

SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea mentioned on Monday that it could evacuate hundreds of scouts participating in a jamboree within the southwest of the nation from Tuesday as a result of an anticipated hurricane.
Kim Sung-ho, a senior inside ministry official, instructed a briefing that about 36,000 members can be taken by bus to safer locations that may not be within the path of the hurricane.
