(Reuters) – South Africa’s state energy utility Eskom reported a hearth at its Grootvlei energy station on Saturday on account of a leak within the gasoline oil provide or return pipeline. There have been no accidents.
“The fireplace was contained and extinguished inside an hour with no accidents sustained,” Eskom mentioned in an announcement on Sunday.
Eskom mentioned the corporate manually shut down the unit following the fireplace and was investigating.
