Sam Bankman-Fried to have marketing campaign donation cost dropped: Prosecutors

United States prosecutors have signaled they are going to drop a cost towards FTX co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried, which had alleged he conspired to make illegal marketing campaign contributions.

In a July 26 letter to District Court docket Choose Lewis Kaplan, U.S. Lawyer Damian Williams stated the federal government was knowledgeable by The Bahamas that it didn’t comply with extradite Bankman-Fried on the cost and prosecutors wouldn’t carry it ahead to trial.
