MOSCOW (Reuters) – A Russian court has remanded journalist Antonina Favorskaya in custody for two months after she was charged with participation in an extremist organisation, the Moscow court service said.
Favorskaya was detained on March 27 and accused of participating in the Anti-Corruption Foundation, which late opposition leader Alexei Navalny founded, according to a support group for Favorskaya.
She said she was not guilty and opposed the hearing being closed, according to the group.
