Royal family has ‘bad feeling’ Prince Harry will ‘betray them again’ for money: ex-butler

The royal family is concerned that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will once again “betray” them for financial gain, according to the late Princess Diana’s former butler.
Paul Burrell, who worked for Diana for over 10 years until her sudden death in 1997, said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no doubt exploit their family drama for cash if they’re let back into the royal fold.
“I think there is a very bad feeling in the royal family about Harry and Meghan that if they let them back into the royal fold they will be betrayed again,” he said.
“They see it as airing dirty laundry in public and telling tales in public when they know all too well that they shouldn’t do that.”
“They see it as Harry now making money off the back of being royal which is wrong in their books,” Burrell continued.
“They have thrown other members of the family under the bus which is well documented now and you can’t go back: once you have done it you’re out and I think Harry has to understand that.”
“It’s a cruel world but they have to be like that to survive and to not let one of their own prejudice the privileged world they live in,” he added.
Burrell also claimed that the exiled royal knew the risks he was taking by speaking out about the Firm, and subsequently breaking the royal family’s “Never Complain, Never Explain” motto.
“He knew what the score was when he was putting pen to paper, he knew what he was doing and what the consequences would be,” he shared.
“He knew that his mother suffered the same consequences, he knew that when she wrote her book it had dire consequences.”
“Everybody makes mistakes but that was a huge mistake,” Burrell continued. “Coming back to England, I wonder if he has thought how unpopular they are in their country and that will bring its own problems.”
What’s more, Burrell said that the duke is “missing” his home soil, but won’t be welcomed back with open arms after he and Meghan “burned their bridges with the country and family.”
“I am sure that Harry misses some aspects of his life because his life in California must be quite vacuous at times whereas here it’s filled with friends and family, his culture, and things he likes to do and I think he must miss some of that,” Burrell said.
“They now have a family and may want to revisit some of Harry’s past. I’ve always thought it’s sad that they are missing out on Harry’s heritage and they may now be thinking it’s time to see something of the culture in England.”
“They won’t move here permanently and I’m not sure Harry and Meghan will be welcomed into social circles because after all he has turned his back on this country,” he added.
“I think for the time being they have burned their bridges not only to their country but to their family.”
