A family of four was found dead in a Rockland County home early Saturday in what police believe may have been a triple murder-suicide.
The four people – an adult man, an adult woman, and two young boys – were found in the New City home around 12:20 a.m. while authorities responded to the address for a welfare check, NBC New York reported.
The victims – who have not been publicly identified – appeared to have died from gunshot wounds, the Clarkstown Police Department told the outlet.
The father “appears to have a self inflicted gunshot wound,” authorities told the outlet.
The juvenile male victims were reportedly 10 and 12 years old.
The Clarkstown Police Department declined to comment to The Post Saturday afternoon.
