Lake is losing weight.

Ricki Lake showed of her impressive 30-pound weight loss in a new Instagram photo over the weekend — and no, it’s not thanks to Ozempic.

“Hi friends. I’ve been wanting to share with you what I’ve been up to these last 4 months. On October 26th, 2023 I made a commitment to myself to get healthier. My husband, Ross joined me in this effort. Together we have each lost 30+ lbs,” she captioned a carousel of photos on Saturday.

“I really want to share, because we did this without relying on a pharmaceutical. (Not that there is anything wrong with that),” she went on. “But neither of us were pre diabetic and both of us felt like we wanted to at least try and do it on our own. Being 55 and in perimenopause, I was a bit worried, that my body would not drop the lbs like it had in the past.”

Ozempic is a drug intended to treat type 2 diabetes, and has become popular in Hollywood for weight loss.

The former talk show host, 55, gushed that she was “proud” of her and her husband for their transformations.

“I feel amazing. I feel strong,” she added. “I will go in depth in another post of what I did exactly, but suffice to say this is the healthiest way I’ve lost weight in all of my years.”

In one photo, Lake proudly smiled in a mirror selfie as she posed in black workout gear and a sports bra, which revealed her abs.

Lake went from 165 pounds to 140 pounds in the span of four months.

In other Instagram photos, she snapped a photo taking a walk, the pair hugging outdoors and enjoying the beach.

The “Hairspray” actress has often been candid about her body. She dealt with hair loss for 30 years and was diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia in 2021.

In 2019, she shaved her head and went on to use Danish brand Harklinikke to regrow her hair.

“It has given me my life back,” she told Us Weekly at the time. “And I know those are big words, but honestly, anyone that’s suffered with this knows what I’m talking about. It takes over your life. Every time you walk past a mirror, every time you run a brush through your hair, anytime your boyfriend wants to grab your hair and pull it, every time you’re in the shower, it consumed me.”
