The Rangers are getting in on the NHL trade deadline fun.
The Blueshirts acquired center Alex Wennberg from the Kraken on Wednesday, The Post’s Larry Brooks confirmed.
They’re sending Seattle a 2024 second-round pick and 2025 fourth-round pick, per multiple reports, and the Kraken are retaining half of what’s left on Wennberg’s $4.5 million salary.
The 29-year-old Swede has posted nine goals and 25 points in 60 games this season.

In 693 NHL games between Seattle and the Columbus, he’s racked up 90 goals and 330 points.
He would help fill the offensive void left by injuries to Filip Chytil and Blake Wheeler.
A high-end passer with good skating and a 200-foot game, Wennberg likely fits into the Rangers’ third line and brings 42 games of playoff experience.
Wennberg, 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, is in the final season of a three-year, $13.5 million deal that has him slotted to become a free agent at the end of the season.
The NHL trade deadline is Friday, March 8 at 3 p.m. ET.
