The Raiders are set to conduct their first head coach interview.

Former Vikings coach Leslie Frazier will sit down with Las Vegas brass to discuss the open coaching position on Tuesday, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported on Sunday night.

He will be the first candidate the Raiders speak with as they look for a permanent replacement after they fired Josh McDaniels during the season and gave Antonio Pierce the job on an interim basis.

Pierce has the support of the players inside the Raiders locker room to take over the job full-time and he remains the leading candidate, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Pierce went 5-4 after taking over for McDaniels this past season.

A source told the NFL insider, “I would be blown away if Antonio weren’t the pick.”

But Pierce has interviewed for the vacant head coaching job in Tennessee, with the Titans and Pierce meeting on Saturday.

The Falcons have also requested permission to interview Pierce for their head coaching position.

Frazier went 21-32-1 during his time as head coach in Minnesota and lost the lone postseason game that he coached the Vikings in.

More recently, he spent six seasons as the defensive coordinator for the Bills from 2017 to 2022.

Frazier recently interviewed for the head coaching position with the Chargers as well.

Las Vegas is said to also have interest in Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, who is atop the list of several teams, but the Raiders do not have any interviews scheduled with the College Football Playoff championship-winning coach.

The Raiders finished this season with an 8-9 record in second place in the AFC West.

The Raiders are getting help from anywhere they can during the coaching hunt, including soliciting the help of Hall of Fame defensive lineman Richard Seymour, who confirmed on X he was part of the team searching for Vegas’ next coach.
