Police: Man Blocking Traffic Fatally Shot After Pointing Gun at Detroit Officer

DETROIT (AP) — A person has been shot and killed after pointing a gun at a police officer, based on Detroit police.

A division supervisor on patrol approached the person who was blocking visitors at an intersection about 8 p.m. Friday on the town’s southwest aspect, Police Chief James White advised reporters.

The person had a coat in a single hand after which pointed the gun on the officer who fired photographs, hanging the person. The person was pronounced useless at a hospital.

A handgun was recovered, White mentioned. The capturing was below investigation by the state police.
