New Mexico Police Officer Is Critically Wounded From Being Shot within the Face by a Suspect

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (AP) — A suspect has been arrested within the taking pictures of an Alamogordo police officer who remained hospitalized Sunday in crucial however secure situation, authorities stated.

Dominic De La O, 26, was arrested after a shootout with the officer round 2 a.m. Saturday, police stated.
