Ne-Yo Apologizes for “Insensitive and Offensive” Comments on Gender Identity – E! Online

Ne-Yo is strolling again his current feedback on gender identification.

“After a lot reflection, I might like to specific my deepest apologies to anybody that I’ll have harm with my feedback on parenting and gender identification,” he wrote in a statement shared to Twitter on Aug. 6. “I’ve at all times been an advocate for love and inclusivity within the LGBTQI+ neighborhood, so I perceive how my feedback might’ve been interpreted as insensitive and offensive.” 

And the “Nearer” singer acknowledged he has extra to be taught.

“Gender identification is nuanced and I can truthfully admit that I plan to higher educate myself on the subject, so I can strategy future conversations with extra empathy,” the Grammy winner added. “On the finish of the day, I lead with love and help everybody’s freedom of expression and pursuit of happiness.”

The apology comes days after Ne-Yo made the remarks throughout an interview.
