MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Monday urged Mexican-People to not vote for Texas Governor Greg Abbott in response to Texas placing a barrier of orange buoys within the Rio Grande to cease migrants crossing into the USA.
Mexico’s incoming overseas minister, Alicia Barcena, stated final week that the barrier violates a water treaty and should intrude on Mexican territory.
