Who is the most recent celebrity to no longer host ‘Jeopardy?’

Mayim Bialik revealed on her social media account Friday that she will no longer be hosting the game show.

“As the holiday break begins in Hollywood, I have some Jeopardy! news,” the “Big Bang Theory” actress wrote on Instagram. “Sony has informed me that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!”

“I am incredibly honored to have been nominated for a primetime Emmy for hosting this year,” she continued, “and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the Jeopardy! family.”

The 48-year-old concluded her post by thanking her supporters.

“For all of you who have supported me through this incredible journey and to the fans, contestants, writers, staff and crew of America’s Favorite Quiz Show,” she concluded, “thank you.”

The “Blossom” star began co-hosting the show with former Jeopardy champion Ken Jennings in September 2021, after Alex Trebek, who began hosting the show in 1984, died in November 2020 after a battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 80.

In 2023 Bialik and Jennings were made the permanent hosts of Jeopardy! to the dismay of some fans.

In August 2023, it was announced that Jennings would take over Bialik’s Celebrity Jeopardy! hosting duties.
