Matt Milano could be out long-term in another crushing Bills injury

Another week, another setback for the Buffalo Bills.
Just seven days after losing starting cornerback Tre’Davious White for the season with a torn Achilles, the Bills also lost standout linebacker Matt Milano, who was carted off during their London clash against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday with a knee injury.
Milano was injured in a dog pile of players from both the Bills and Jaguars early on in the contest.
The Bills officially ruled Milano out shortly thereafter.
“It’s not looking good,” Bills coach Sean McDermott said after Buffalo’s 25-20 loss to the Jaguars.
Along with the aforementioned White, the Bills entered the game without key defenders Greg Rousseau, Christian Benford and Shaq Lawson.
The Bills also lost defensive tackle Daquan Jones with a pectoral injury on Sunday and he did not return.
Prior to his exit, Milano secured three tackles in the game, giving him 30 combined tackles on the season.
Milano, who was selected in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Bills, made his first All-Pro and Pro Bowl teams last season.
In 2022, Milano recorded 99 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 11 passes deflected, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
After a Week 1 loss to the Jets, the Bills got back on track with three straight wins, including a victory last week over the high-flying Dolphins, but they couldn’t get the run game going against the Jaguars, racking up just 29 yards on 14 attempts.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence took it to the hampered Bills defense, going 25-for-37 for 315 yards and a touchdown, while running back Travis Etienne rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
Jacksonville ran for 196 yards in total.
