Kate Middleton’s brother James welcomes first child with wife Alizee Thevenet

James Middleton, the younger brother of Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has welcomed his first child with wife Alizee Thevenet.

He was seen pushing a stroller during a Tuesday outing with Thevenet, in photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

The couple, who sipped on coffees during their Notting Hill walk, have yet to share the child’s name or sex.

James, 36, announced the pair were expecting their first child in July after sharing a photo of Thevenet embracing their dog with her growing baby bump on display.

“We couldn’t be more excited… well Mable might be ❤️,” he captioned his wife’s baby bump debut, referencing their pet.

“It was a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved Ella, however, we will end the year with the most precious little addition to our growing family. ❤️”

James announced the sad news that his therapy dog of 15 years, Ella, died in January.

Taking to Instagram at the time, he paid tribute to his beloved pooch.

“It is with great sadness that I announce my dear Ella has passed away. For 15 years Ella has been at my side, from my darkest days to my happiest. I’m going to miss her terribly,” he wrote.

James previously revealed that his late dog played a big part in getting him and Thevenet together in 2018.

James’s wife first met Ella at the South Kensington Club in Chelsea, London, when she walked over to the pet to say hello.

“Rather embarrassed, I went over to apologize and bring Ella back,” James recalled the funny moment three years later in an interview with The Telegraph.

“Little did I know, but I had just met my future wife, all thanks to Ella. If I hadn’t trusted Ella, I wouldn’t have brought her to the South Kensington Club and she would not have been able to say hi to the woman who became my fiancée.”

The pair got engaged the following year and tied the knot in 2021.

Their wedding was postponed during the pandemic, but the couple eventually managed to get a day of celebration in the South of France with their family and close friends.

As for his siblings, Prince William’s wife Kate, 41, was the first of the three Middleton children to become a parent.

The Princess of Wales gave birth to Prince George in 2013, Princess Charlotte in 2015, and finally Prince Louis in 2018.
