Joy Behar zones out on ‘The View’ during Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce discussion: ‘Who cares?!’

Earth to Joy.
Joy Behar completely spaced out and entered the twilight zone Wednesday on “The View” when the Valentine’s Day talk turned to Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star and Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce.
Behar’s co-hosts were discussing Swift’s romance with Kelce, but both Behar, 81, and Whoopi Goldberg, 68, seemed to zone out during the “Hot Topics” chat.
Goldberg made faces to the audience while Behar looked down and was playing with her pen.
During the segment, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin chatted about the “serious step” that Swift and Kelce took by having their parents meet, according to Entertainment Weekly.
“Joy, do you think they’re going to get married now?” Hostin asked Behar, who looked as if she didn’t know what or who Hostin was talking about.
“Who?” Behar replied, glancing around the table with a confused look on her face, according to EW.
“Joy left this conversation,” Griffin said, while Haines attempted to bring Behar back to the topic at hand.
“The football player and the pop star,” Haines said to Behar, who then seemed to snap back into the moment, according to the report.
“Oh, those two! Yeah, I like Taylor. I’m a Swiftie,” Behar said, not answering the question of whether she thought Swift and Kelce are going to get married.
“But meeting parents — both sets of parents met,” Hostin said.
“Who cares?!” Behar fired back.
The show went to commercial shortly thereafter.
Behar may be a self-proclaimed “Swiftie,” but in the past, she hasn’t held Kelce in the highest regard.
Last November, she called him an “idiot” for critiquing the appearance of women in old tweets, some of which dated back to 2010, that Kelce had since deleted.
One of Kelce’s old tweets read: “Damn the clippers girls gotta be the s–tty girls that don’t make the lakers girls team, cuz they all was ugly.”
“He’s illiterate is more to the point,” Behar said at the time. “He’s obsessed with the girls looking good, that was his thing.”
She then read another of Kelce’s deleted posts aloud, which asked, “why cant girls hide they backfat,” on top of, “I feel like if u wanna be a cheerleader you have to pass a beauty test …. there’s too many ugly cheerleaders out here smh.”
“Why do you care what he thinks?” Goldberg asked Behar, pointing out that Swift doesn’t seem concerned by the dated remarks.
“I’m a Swiftie and I love her because she’s getting young people out to vote, so I don’t want her to be stuck with this idiot,” Behar responded.
