Jordan Holiday Classic brings elite slate of high school hoops, top recruits to NYC

It will be a quiet stretch on the local college basketball scene, but basketball nuts can still catch future stars without traveling far. 

Baruch College in Manhattan will host an elite slate of high school basketball matchups over the next four days, as a number of the country’s top prospects will be in action in the 2023 Jordan Holiday Classic presented by MADE Hoops. 

It includes the top uncommitted player in the country, VJ Edgecombe, of local powerhouse Long Island Lutheran; Rutgers commit and No. 2 overall prospect Dylan Harper of Don Bosco Prep; Kentucky signee Boogie Fland of Archbishop Stepinac; North Carolina signee Ian Jackson of Our Saviour Lutheran; and St. John’s recruit Jaiden Glover of The Patrick School. 

Glover and Harper face one another for the first night of the tournament on Wednesday in an all-New Jersey showdown.

General admission is $23. Baruch’s gym, ARC Arena, is located at 55 Lexington Ave.
