Israel kills Hamas commander behind one of heinous kibbutz attacks — another top leader also taken out

Two more Hamas leaders have been killed in targeted airstrikes in Gaza – including the commander who orchestrated one of last week’s heinous deadly assaults on an Israeli kibbutz, Israel’s military said Sunday.
Israel Defense Forces claimed they “neutralized” Billal Al Kedra, the commander of the southern Khan Yunis Nukhba forces, in the Gaza Strip late Saturday.
The military said Al Kedra was behind the massacre of dozens of innocent Israelis when Hamas terrorists stormed the Kibbutz Nirim community Oct. 7 as part of its sneak attack on Israel.
It wasn’t immediately clear how many men, women and children were slaughtered in the attack on their farming community.
But a painter who lived in the ravaged community told CNN afterward, “They just slaughtered everyone.
“They killed kids, babies, grandmothers.”
Footage released by the IDF showed a missile obliterating the building where Al Kedra was said to be holed up.
“Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist operatives were also neutralized,” the military said in a statement.
“The IDF also struck over 100 military targets located in Zaytun, Khan Yunis, and west Jabaliya,” the post said. These strikes impacted the capabilities of the Hamas terrorist organization by targeting its operational command centers, military compounds, dozens of launchers, anti-tank missile launch posts and observation posts.”
In a separate strike Sunday, Muetaz Eid — the commander of the Hamas Southern District of National Security – was also taken out during a slew of wide-scale strikes on Hamas military targets.
“Throughout the day, the IAF struck approximately 250 military targets – mostly in the northern Gaza Strip,” the air force said.
The death of the terror bigwigs comes a day after two other Hamas honchos, including the commander of the murderous paragliders who slaughtered Israeli civilians from the air, were killed in similar Israeli-led strikes.
Murad Abu Murad, the head of the Hamas Air Force, was taken out when Israeli Air Force fighter jets targeted the Gaza City headquarters.
Ali Qadi, who was identified as “a company commander of the Hamas ‘Nukhba’ commando force,” was killed in a separate strike.
“Ali Qadi led the inhumane, barbaric October 7 massacre of civilians in Israel,” the IDF tweeted Saturday.
“We just eliminated him. All Hamas terrorists will meet the same fate.”
The string of strikes come as Israeli forces positioned themselves along Gaza’s border and drilled for what Israel said would be a campaign by air, land and sea to “destroy” the militant group.
