Instructions for destruction: Israel finds Hamas manual on how to create chemical weapons

The Israeli military has recovered a chilling manual from a dead Hamas terrorist that contains detailed instructions on how to build chemical weapons – as well as plans on where to use them, including dance parties, schools and movie theaters, The Post has learned.
The seven-page manual was found in the memory card of a GoPro camera recovered from the body of the terrorist, who was killed at Kibbutz Be’eri on Oct. 7, the day Hamas launched its attack on Israel, an Israel Defense Forces spokesman said.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog recently said the army had found instructions on a USB key on one of the terrorists at the kibbutz on how to make a cyanide chemical weapon.
But the IDF spokesman stressed Tuesday that the manual shared with The Post is different and much more detailed.
“In the name of God, the most merciful, destined from God and clear victory to deliver the ethereal assassin to the stubborn infidel,” an English translation from the Arabic manual states, according to the IDF.
“One package is easy and cheap to prepare for any desired amount of cargo, whether it is a box – or more – carried by hand, or a container that is dropped from a flying plane,” the document reads.
It notes that dry ingredients are to be kept separate from liquids stored inside sealed glass bottles as part of the weapons-making.
“To commence the reaction, the user can forcefully toss or drop the package holding the glass vials and the dry materials in order to cause the vials to break,” the instructions say, according to the IDF translation.
“The liquid materials will then mix with the dry, producing gases that will be emitted from the holes of the package with force. A very small stun gun can also be used between the cans to break them, for more control,” it says.
The manual mentions the chemical compound permanganate, a flammable substance it says should be kept away from a detonator in the improvised device.
“If separation with paper is not possible, the cyanide can be placed below the permanganate, making sure that the detonator is fixed at the bottom of the can in all cases,” it says.
The manual provides detailed instructions about two processing methods – a “traditional” system that requires a 24-hour waiting period and provides a smaller load and a “modern” one, which can be ready in just 30 minutes and yields a greater output.
Among the ingredients cited are potassium permanganate, pure acetone, hydrogen peroxide, concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid – with the manual providing a step-by-step list of instructions on how to create the diabolical weapon.
It also explains that potassium permanganate is used to sterilize vegetables and that hydrochloric acid is available from car radiator maintenance shops.
“The summary of the idea is to fill the medicine capsules after emptying them (with extreme caution) with potassium cyanide, which is used by goldsmiths, coppersmiths and others,” the document says.
The instructions then go on to detail how adding an ingrediant creates a deadly gas — adding on this chilling note: Peace, mercy and blessings of God.”
The evil screed then suggests possible places where unleash the poison.
The list of targets includes movie theaters, shopping centers, bars and restaurants, schools, hospitals, trains – noting “not their stations because they are monitored by cameras” – and even “prostitution shops.
The manual also explains “the quickest way to spread the gas in closed spaces.”
“If a detonator is used, the charges can be set up, and the detonator can be controlled remotely or a timer can be used. How to detonate the detonator, will depend on the arrangement of the Mujahedeen group regarding the details of the operation and the capabilities available to it,” it adds.
A senior IDF spokesperson told The Post that “the findings in this document are very disturbing.
“This is just one example of many showing the similarity between the terrorist organization Hamas and ISIS,” the military representative said. “The war that the IDF is waging against the terrorist organization Hamas is actually a war for the future of humanity.
“The disturbing document proves that Hamas intended to act indiscriminately against civilians in order to wreak havoc on as many Jews as possible,” the rep continued.
“It is disturbing to think what would have happened if the plans in the document would have been executed.”
Herzog previously shared with UK news outlet Sky News a series of documents with diagrams that also were found on a terrorist at Kibbutz Be’eri.
The documents contained “precise instructions for preparing a device for dispersing cyanide agents,” the Israeli government’s office later said in a statement.
Sky News noted that it was unable to independently verify Herzog’s claims but reported that the source of the documents was from a 2003 al Qaeda manual.
The IDF representative stressed to The Post that the manual found in the jihadist’s GoPro is far more detailed and chilling.
