Food Network star Duff Goldman was involved in an alleged drunk driving incident after arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Feb. 1.

“On my way home from the airport I was thinking about what kind of cake I was going to make for my daughter’s birthday,” Goldman, 49, wrote in an Instagram post on Sunday, featuring his bandaged hand. “Next thing I knew I bleeding and surrounded by airbags.”

“A drunk driver had swerved into my lane on a windy country road,” Goldman continued. “After doing a systems check and finding that my only injury was to my hand I thanked my lucky stars that I’d still be there to celebrate her third birthday even if I couldn’t make her cake.”

According to the “Iron Chef” star, he’s fine but “it’s gonna be a long road to recovery, and for someone like me who makes a living with my hands you can imagine that this is no joke.”

“There’s no excuse for driving drunk,” the “Cake Masters” star slammed. “None. Uber, taxi, call a friend. No excuse.”

“Stay safe friends, count your blessings,” the reality star concluded. “If you’re drinking don’t drive, and if you’re driving, don’t drink.”

There is no indication that Goldman, born Jeffrey Adam Goldman, intends to press charges.

The Post reached out to Goldman for additional comment.

In a statement to People, Goldman revealed that the head-on collision took place near his Santa Monica, Calif., home.

“I live on a really windy, canyon road in the Santa Monica Mountains,” Goldman told the outlet. “And this guy just came around this corner way too fast.”

According to Goldman, there was no preventing the crash as the driver “was already totally in our lane and just smashed into us.”

The “Kids Baking Championship” judge claimed that it felt like time had slowed down.

“I just saw my wife and my daughter. It was nuts. And then boom, the crash happened,” he recalled. “I was just doing a systems check, making sure everything was where it was supposed to be, and I see there’s blood all the way down my hand, but nothing else.”

“I was just like, ‘Thank God, thank God.’ Even as I was sitting there dealing with it, I was like, ‘I’m still here.’”

All three people — the chef, his driver and the driver of the other car — were taken to the hospital where Goldman was required to receive stitches on his dominant right hand.

Goldman revealed that he is still waiting to have his hand examined by a specialist.

“It definitely doesn’t work,” the “Man vs Food” star said. “And I need it to, because that’s all I got.”

Goldman “was pretty angry” when he checked in on the other driver and smelled the alleged alcohol on his breath.

“My daughter almost didn’t have a dad because this guy was stupid,” Goldman told People.

Since being released from the hospital, Goldman revealed that he has been recovering with his wife, Johnna Colbry, and daughter, Josephine.

“I’ve been hugging my family a lot. I think they’re getting sick of it,” he went on. “I just keep saying, like, ‘Come here. Give me a hug real fast.’”
