Florida man allegedly pistol whips, shoots friend in both legs while drunk

A Florida man was arrested for allegedly pistol-whipping and capturing his buddy in each legs, police say.

Thomas Arney, 38, was charged with aggravated battery with a lethal weapon. 

The incident occurred at round 4:00 a.m. Friday on Desoto Avenue in De Leon Springs.

The suspect was nonetheless on the scene when cops arrived.

Arney informed them the incident began with a drunken argument.
