It wasn’t quite the euphoric celebration fans were hoping for.

The HBO drama series “Euphoria” announced Thursday that the third season of the coming-of-age drama has been pushed back to 2025 with production to resume at some point next year, according to People.

HBO attributed the delay to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike as well as the Writers Guild of America strike, which ended in September after five months.

The announcement that the series, which ended with a cliffhanger, would take even longer to return to screens was met with mixed sentiment.

“WTH,” one angry fan posted on X (formerly Twitter). “They’re all gonna be 60 by the time the series finale comes around.”

“How tho? It takes them like 3 years to film a season,” a second person posted.

“I was 27 when Season 2 was released, when Season 3 comes out I’ll be 31,” a third user commented.

One user even joked that “the cast is going to be in a nursing home by then.”

However, several other fans have called on the show runners just to fully cancel the show due to the fact people will lose interest.

“Just cancel it bro,” one user plainly stated.

“Cancel it imo,” a second person chimed in.

Other fans exclaimed that they didn’t care how long it took just as long as they got the new season.

“You think I can wait that long, one giddy fan posted. “I need it now!”

“That’s exciting,” added a second enthusiast.

As of now, there has been no word on any plot details or how the show plans to write off the character Fezco, whose fate was left up in the air during a standoff with police in the show’s Season 2 finale.

Fezco “Fez” O’Neill was portrayed by Angus Cloud, who died at the age of 25 due to a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, benzodiazepine and other drugs.

TMZ later reported that the Alameda County coroner determined the young actor suffered acute intoxication.

The actor, born Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, was found dead at his family’s home in Oakland, California, where he was discovered by his mother.

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” read a statement from Cloud’s family. “As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”

According to the statement, Cloud was still reeling from the death of his father, Conor Hickey, who passed away after a brief battle with cancer.

“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” continued the statement.

At the time of Cloud’s passing, his family did not give any specific details, only that the rising star suffered from mental health problems.

“Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” the statement read. “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”

The Oakland Fire Department told The Post that at 11:30 a.m, they responded to a medical emergency at Cloud’s home.

A spokesperson revealed that Cloud was pronounced dead at the scene.
